What is Capybaradoku?

Capybaradoku is a bite-sized logic puzzle starring a very relaxed capybara. If you've played Meowdoku or LinkedIn's Queens, you already know the rules: place exactly one capybara in every row, every column, and every coloured region — and no two capybaras may touch, not even diagonally. Each puzzle has exactly one solution and can be cracked with pure logic.

The difference is everything around the puzzle: it's free, there are zero ads, it plays offline, and it installs to your phone like a real app in a couple of taps.

Frequently asked questions

Is Capybaradoku really free?

Yes — 100% free, no ads, no accounts, no purchases. Just open it and play.

Is this like Meowdoku or the Queens puzzle?

Very much so. It shares the same core ruleset — one piece per row, column and colour region, with no two touching. Capybaradoku is our ad-free, offline, capybara-themed take on it. See the full rules →

Do I need to download it from an app store?

No. It's a web app — open it in your browser and, if you like, add it to your home screen (Android: "Install app"; iPhone: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen). Then it works offline.

Can my friends and I play the same levels?

Yes — level numbers are the same for everyone, so "level 67" is identical for you and a friend. There's also an optional shared leaderboard.
